Timetable App - Privacy Policy

1. Information Collection and Use

Timetable (the "App") is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information to external servers, unless explicitly stated below for optional features.

2. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored locally on your device using:

• Android Shared Preferences for app settings, lesson templates, weekly lessons, and timetables
• Internal device storage for attached images, files, and app-specific content

Your data remains on your device unless you choose to use optional cloud or export features.

3. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Photos and Media: To allow selection of images from your gallery for attaching to lesson notes
• Notifications: To display lesson reminders and alerts at scheduled times
• Google Account Access: Only for optional Google Drive backup and restore functionality
• Camera (if applicable in future updates): For taking photos directly within the App
• File Access: To allow attaching files from your device storage to lessons

4. Optional Cloud and Export Features

a) Google Drive Backup

Users can optionally enable Google Drive synchronization:

• Backup includes: lesson templates, weekly lessons, notes, images, attached files, and lesson times
• Data is encrypted in transit and stored in your personal Google Drive account
• The App only accesses its own backup files in Google Drive
• Requires explicit user consent and manual activation

b) Export/Import via Local Files

Users can export/import data as JSON files:

• Files are saved locally or to external storage of your choice
• No data is transmitted externally unless you deliberately share the export file

c) Google Forms for Feature Requests

Users may optionally submit feature requests via Google Forms:

• Submissions may include: your message, app version, device info, and timestamp
• This data goes directly to Google Forms and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• Submissions are limited (once per minute) to prevent abuse

5. Data Sharing

We do not share any user data with:

• Third-party advertising networks
• Social media platforms
• Analytics services
• Data brokers or marketers

6. Screenshot Sharing

The App includes functionality to capture and share screenshots of your timetable:

• Screenshots are generated locally on your device
• Sharing is handled through standard Android sharing mechanisms
• No screenshots are automatically uploaded or stored by us

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with:

• Google Drive (for optional backup)
• Google Forms (for optional feature requests)

These services are governed by their own Privacy Policies and Terms of Service.

8. Data Deletion

You maintain complete control:

• Local data: Deleted when you uninstall the App or use "Delete All Data" in settings
• Google Drive backups: Persist until you manually delete them from your Drive
• Attached files/images: Stored with your lesson data and deleted along with it

9. Children's Privacy

The App may be used by individuals of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
